I felt I really annotated well on Nicholas Carr’s essay, “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” as I believe I annotated the most on it out of all the other articles we read over the course of the semester. I underlined a lot of quotes I felt helpful to use in my essays, especially since I used Carr’s essay in my first and second paper when I related how the Internet and technology has made our society difficult over the course of their existences. I highlighted anything I thought was a reference to some form of pop culture and I made sure to pay attention to any studies that were mentioned throughout the paper. Most of the quotes I underlined and made note of were used in my papers, including the one I mentioned in Learning Outcome #2, as I used it in both my first project and second project. Some of my annotations seemed very messy throughout the essay, but they made sense to me–organized chaos if you will. I mostly marked and commented on anything that I thought would be helpful to any of projects, which they were as I had mentioned previously.
